Burlington Football Club (BFC)

is a leading soccer club in the

Burlington, VT area. My 2012 boys

team has dominated play in the state, winning the State Cup championship the last three years (2024-2026). I have been the starting goalkeeper each of those years.

To play better competition, in 2025 we joined the New England-based NL league. We won the league in our first season.

Spring 2026 was my fourth year playing for BFC as well as my fourth year being coached by Head Coach Bob Day.

While living in Switzerland

from 2020 to 2023, I played for

FC Muri Gümligen, a top team in the Bern region of Switzerland. That was when I switched from field player to goalkeeper. FCMG had a dedicated goalkeeper coach, who taught me a lot of my fundamentals.

Position

Goalkeeper

2026 was my fifth year as a dedicated goalkeeper. My strengths are challenging attackers one-on-one, using my feet to play from the back, and communicating to my teammates. I'm mobile, sure handed, and pretty tall for my age (5' 9'' at age 13).

Accomplishments

Selections and Awards

In 2025, I was invited to train with Seacoast United's 2012 MLS Next team. After several training sessions, I was invited to join the skills training organization, The Pro Project. I trained with TPP's Andrew Pesci for six months, however had to stop because Woburn was too far from home in Vermont.

I have also been selected to represent Vermont as a member of the state ODP team.

I'm an aggressive keeper who likes to challenge attackers one-on-one. We play a possession game, initiating play from the back end, which lets me use my feet and act as an 11th fielder. Since I used to be a field player and practice throughout the winter outside the net, I feel like I have good foot skills, especially for a goalie. I also enjoy directing play and communicating from the back.

I've worked with several private goalkeeper skill coaches, including staff at The Pro Project, and I'm currently training with Vermont native and NCAA committed goalkeeper, Liam Hand.
