Hello.  I'm Tyler Schut (pronounced "shoot").

 

I live in Shelburne, VT and will be in 8th grade this Fall. I'm a dedicated athlete determined to play at the highest levels I can reach. I play both hockey and soccer year round for the top clubs in Vermont and I love both game play and intensive training.

I have been playing both sports for as long as I can remember, and on teams since I was three or four years old.  As the youngest of three siblings, I always had opportunities to play up, which was really helpful. I also realize how fortunate I've been to have had the support of my parents.

​

I was born in September 2012, while we were living overseas due to my father's government career. I have been lucky to have lived in multiple foreign countries (Israel, England, and Switzerland), and have called Vermont home since 2023. Living abroad has been great for my development athletically, and also contributed to my maturity and open minded perspective.

My academics are also important to me, and I take pride in being a strong student. I realize that success has to be in the classroom, as well as in the rink and on the field.

Now my goal is to attend a high quality prep school, where I can gain a great education while reaching my athletic potential.
